Known for their versatility in style, the Ojai String Quartet explores the space between classical and rock and jazz. The members of the quartet have years of experience performing live and recording with artists like Sting, Bocelli, Burt Bacharach, Paula Cole, and many others. They have played with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and graced the stages of the Greek Theater and the Ford Theater.  The founder of the group,Kathleen Robertson is a recording artist and has played on hundreds of movie scores and records. From 1999-2018 she was the Concertmaster of the Pantages Theater in Hollywood for productions such as Hamilton, Wicked and Lion King.  Kathleen played for the Ojai music festival at Libbey Bowl 25 years ago and fell in love immediately with the beauty of Ojai. Kathleen can be found performing solo engagements, quartet concerts, or writing music and recording in her home studio.
